Lumières sur l’eau est un documentaire réalisé avec les enfants de Waswanipi, une communauté crie du Nord du Québec (Baie-James). Diverses influences culturelles teintent le quotidien de la communauté. C’est par leur refus et leur appropriation d’aspects culturels que les enfants se construisent une identité propre. Au cours d’un an, ils et elles nous guident à travers l’expression de cette identité, puis questionnent l’avenir de leur génération.
